洛杉磯湖人Kobe Bryant在30日宣布他本季為最後一季，知名女演員林熙蕾也在她個人網頁表示不捨。
經歷20年的漫長征戰Kobe今天親自透露本季打完退休的事情，震驚球壇許多球迷也感到不捨，其中一位知名女藝人林熙蕾在她個人網頁上表示：「謝謝你Kobe，我們會一直愛你、想念你。」
接著林熙蕾寫道：「因為你的堅持、自我、頑固、紀錄，大家對你又愛又恨，但沒人敢否決你的努力和才華。你是NBA歷史上最偉大的球員之一！」
2016年聖誕大餐主菜，照慣例由上季總冠軍賽的兩隊擔綱，克里夫蘭騎士靠著主控Kyrie Irving致勝一擊，109：108氣走金州勇士。對，又是Kyrie Irving。
去年聖誕節也是這兩隊對決，由勇士勝出，今天騎士在俄亥俄州力保聖誕節主場不敗之身，「小皇帝」LeBron James繳出31分、13籃板，與勇士Kevin Durant的36分、15籃板分庭抗禮。
決勝節，落後7分的騎士展開反攻，Irving單節獨得14分，包括最後3.4秒在Klay Thompson嚴防下的高難度轉身後仰超前跳投。
Irving全場攻下25分、10助攻，而上季總冠軍賽殊死第7戰，以致勝跳投粉碎勇士的也是他。
勇士方面，「浪花兄弟」表現平平，Thompson投進5記三分球，得到24分，Stephen Curry則是依舊「鬼靈精」上身，只得15分，外線7投中2。
